it basicly depends on how people feel about it. the machines would want to be equal. what man could do is create thinking robots and make regular robots do the work with a little logical aid. if thinking robots do the work, history will repeat itself and slavery will be a big controversy, and then there'll be a civil rights act thing for robots.
